We have found one of our favorite activities for a very hot summer day!
Recently our family went to the Sandy River which flows through Dabney State Park. Mrs. Knifong at http://www.kristiknifong.blogspot.com/ gave us the wonderful tip of wearing our life jackets and floating down the river rapids. Thank you Mrs. Knifong!

Ten short years ago, I thought that my life was so full.... I was a busy Momma of four lively little ones ages 7 down to newborn. Now, that 7 year old little girl has turned into a 17 year old young lady and I just can't believe that the years have past so quickly. Hug your babies, Mothers.... because before you know it... they will be taller than you.... smarter than you.... and more adorable than you. How very thankful I am to the LORD that I have had the privilege of parenting this most beautiful young lady! Happy Birthday to you, Shiloh! Your Mother and Father love you dearly!
