Phantom of the Opera (in 213 Seconds)

From Broadway to Buena Park, Phantom of the Opera like you've never seen it before!

Naturally, we filmed it together at 1:30 in the morning.  No biggie.
(And we managed to keep the noise level down enough, because Grandma slept through it all!)

California Happy Dance

I am super happy to release our California Happy Dance video!
In this "episode" (it seems as if this video memoir thing is really working out for us) we tried to get as many of the people we met up with to dance for us.  This was quite a fun project to edit and I'm really pleased with how it turned out!  Enjoy!

California Vlogs

In March we squeezed a crazy trip smack-dab in the middle of our booked lives!  We really wanted to visit all the relatives, but we knew that once we hit April, our schedule would be packed... so we had to take the trip in March.  It was a amazing vacation that was slightly insane!  I will be doing an "official" blog post soon, but for now, I'm going to share the Vlog Updates I did while on the road.

Wouldn't Burn Away

Let's backtrack to last month, shall we?

We siblings had a blast putting together our very first music/dance video!  It was a video about the Hanukkah story, featuring a song written by Jordan and a dance choreographed by me.  We had a lot of fun on the project and especially enjoyed getting our "adopted" sister, Lindsey, to join us in the dancing fun!

Here are the behind the scenes pictures of all our hard work!
And that, my friends, is our lovely backdrop.  Tape included.

Trying to get the camera angle right... and no one doing a very good job of helping out.

 Working with the little guys.

 Dance shots.

We only had an hour to put this dance together... and no one but me knew how to do it!  Everyone did such a great job catching on quickly.

Keeping the arms up, because it is just so much better that way.  ;)
(That was a tricky jazz step I insisted everyone learn--it looks great!)

Laughing because something went wrong, which is a good thing because it means we're happy.  :)

 Having some fun!

Contemplating the idea of adding a sequence from the Fox Trot...  ;)

Hava Nagila backtracking...

The ending is a favorite!

This must have been an amusing conversation.

After all our hard work, we decided to have a bit of fun with the infamous "Awkward Family Photo" (for all you Studio C lovers out there)!

A couple nights later, we all work on our movie developments... while Eden kicks back and eats ice cream!

Our movie's promo picture!

And yes, we have a blooper reel of all our fumbles, funnies, and fun!  Enjoy!

The Florida Happy Dance

We spent the beginning of November on the other side of the United States... in Florida!  Last year, we were incredibly blessed to have our short movie, "Him and Her", win grand prize in the video contest we were apart of.  Since that prize covered the trip for half of us, we decided to take the whole family and make it a trip of a lifetime.  And believe me: it was an incredible trip!  I felt so grateful, so humbled, so thankful that the Lord graciously poured out such blessing on each of us.  Wow.  We were able to do so many amazing things as He orchestrated everything in His perfect timing.  I am so thankful to the Lord.

While on our big Florida vacation, we made sure to get clips of some spontaneous--yet frequent for us--dancing to the classic "Happy Song".  I edited all our footage, making it into a video memoir!  Filmed all over Florida... in the MCO airport, Disney World, Epcot, on the road, etc.
And if you've ever wondered... this video does a pretty good job of summing up what goes on behind closed doors: dance grooves and comedy routines.  What can I say?  Our parents are really good teachers!

I have lots of pictures to post, so hopefully I will get those up before next year.  (Just kidding!)

I Named You Hope Short Film

I am thrilled to release World Changing Production's newest short film, I Named You Hope!  This has been a big project that covers the topic of the sanctity of life.  The unique aspect of this movie is the fact that Jordan and Bethany wrote the theme song which has the same title of the movie.

I Named You Hope

A while back I leaked the information that World Changing Productions was preparing to make another short video.  Because this movie will be a prolife one, Jordan and I wrote a special song just for the movie.

Jordan recorded piano and put in the other instruments, Yours Truly sang, and special thanks to our friend, Nathan, for playing guitar!

We are in the editing stage of the movie right now, so very shortly it will be finished and released!

Happy New Year!

Wow!  This has been a crazy but blessed year.  God has added to our family, provided for us, guided us through difficult parts, and blessed us beyond belief.  Each one of us has had challenges; they were difficult and trying, but God saw us through!  Praise the Lord!
Us four older ones getting the Christmas tree.
If you remember this post, then you probably know that is coming.  This is our 3rd annual post dedicated to begging all our blog readers to comment!  Tell us who you are and how you found our blog.  We love hearing from people that we didn't even know existed no less looked at our blog!  :)  If you lurk on our blog and never have left a comment, please do!  Even if we already know you or you have commented in the past, we'd love to hear from you just the same!
Thanks!
On another note, Shiloh entered the "Scottevest: Trip of your Life Contest" with an essay... while Eden and I entered with a video!
It is a movie from "The Vik & Nes Show"... a silly show that we do when we have extra time on our hands (which doesn't happen that often!).  I am Vikki (Vik) and Eden is Vanessa (Nes).
Here is our video:
Please "like" it and share it with your friends!

Thank you all for making our blog possible.  Without anyone viewing it, it wouldn't be here today!
