Jordan Becomes Studious
Thanksgiving
This year I (the Mother) decided that I was not going to exhaust myself by jumping through hoops to perform a "food extravaganza" in the kitchen! We enjoyed a simple thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings as a family. Judah tasted his first turkey, his first mashed potatoes and gravy, and his first pumpkin pie! He loved every bit of it! (So did the rest of us!) All the children helped in their own special way to prepare the meal. The LORD blessed our day immensely!

Blessed Tea Time Traditions
Thanks to Beth at "Monday Motivation and More" I have decided to do a teatime with my girls to encourage them in "beautiful girlhood" and "virtuous womanhood". We will have tea twice a month together. At each teatime, we will read an excerpt from a well written book that will encourage all of us in our daily Christian lives. I am looking forward to all that the LORD will show us in these special times together! I know that He will be glorified!

Blessings to Bethany the Birthday Girl!
Today our very adorable and special second daughter turned 14 years old! We love you, Bethany, and are so blessed to have you in our family! Thank the LORD for sending you to us! Here is Bethany playing her violin on her special day. When not practicing violin (or piano) she can be found somewhere in the woods enjoying her favorite color..... green!

Piano Practice
On any given day at 7:00 am sharp one can find big brother Jordan doing his piano practice. Here he is with little brother Judah helping him out. One this particular day, Jordan was doing an extra practice at the end of the day (notice it is dark outside). Normally, my "alarm clock" is the beautiful sound of Jordan playing his new piano pieces for the week. Music in our home is a glorious gift from the LORD! We are so thankful that our children can fill our home with such lovely music!
