Today is November 12th and a  very special day in this house! Why?? Because it's BETHANY'S BIRTHDAY!

The LORD sure has blessed us with her!

Soap Class!

We've done it again!  We just had our Third Annual Soap Making Class!  (Click HERE to see the past classes.) 

With Yvonne Smythe as a teacher, some wonderful girls as students, and Eden and I as photographers... I knew we would have a wonderful and blessed time! 

As it turns out, we did... and praise the Lord!  Everyone was kept safe, too... =)

 Right after every one's arrival, we set up class.

Here is our wonderful instructor, Yvonne!

After the class (and clean up!) everyone came inside for a tasty lunch!

After the meal, "off we went" to the room above the garage to do some Irish Dancing!

With me "trying" to tell everyone what to do, but at the same time "remembering" what I was suppose to do... ended up to be a success!!!  (Surprise, surprise!) 

Everyone learned really fast and had a lot of fun!

I was quite impressed with Ava's dancing!  Here she "helps" me with my braiding in the "Haymakers Jig".

Our last dance, "The Sweets of May", was a big success... everyone did such an amazing job!

Over all, we had a marvelous time fellowshipping with everyone!  It was truly a blessing to do this class.

An Early Christmas Present!

An early Christmas present!

YAY!

What could it be?!

It is the wonderful news that we now have a Court Date!!! This means that our two little ones in Ethiopia will be legally OURS!

We are scheduled for December 22nd--just before Christmas!

But here's what we'll have to do:

 Get Daddy over in Ethiopia on the 20th of December and back home before the 25th... so he can... well... work on Christmas day!

Thank you for your prayers. Please be praying that everything will go smoothly...

Our Family is growing!!!

A Model of Blood...

This past week, I made a model of blood for a science experiment. I used corn syrup for the plasma, red hots for the red blood cell, white jelly beans for the white blood cells, and sprinkles for the platelets in our bodies.
So please! Sit back and enjoy the pictures!!!!

All of my labeled ingredients.

Step One: Pour the "plasma" in a bowl...

Step Two: Pour the "Red Blood Cells" in... 

Step Three: Drop your "White Blood Cells" in....

Step Four: Now the Sprinkles! 

 And Lastly... ::Drum Roll, Please!:: THE FINISHED PRODUCT!

Oh...and then the picture of me holding it... (Right after mommy took the picture, the model did a nice big drip on the floor! It wasn't that easy to clean it up!!!! ;))

So there you have it!
