2013 Family Economics Conferece Part 1

The beach.  A conference with like-minded families.  Fun times as a family.

What more can you ask for?

Oh, I forgot... swimming.  And yes, we did quite a bit of that!
But I digress.

This past weekend we enjoyed going to the Family Economics Conference.  For us it meant a family vacation (we don't go on vacation--we just vacation wherever we go!), listening to inspiring sessions by godly speakers, and (the best part for us social butterflies) visiting with so many wonderful families.  Since we take lots of pictures, I'm going to have to divide this in two Parts... so be sure to check back soon for Part 2!

Lunch for two very mysterious individuals.
Being that I'm the official wrap maker, I feel that I have artistic liberty to play around with whom I'm addressing the meals to.

Each member of our family loves to shop at the Goodwill not only because of all the great finds, but because we have way too much fun with some not so great finds!
"Infin yer a cowboy, ya wear these here boots!"

 When sisters go shopping!

 We Jammin'!

Who can find the highest heels without falling over?!

 Traveling musician.

Nearing Ocean Shores Washington.
I grabbed my camera right as we were going over this bridge and really didn't have time to focus, but I was rather amused to find that the picture ended up looking like a quaint oil painting!

Driving down the road with the sun reflecting off the water... just gorgeous!

I don't need a caption for this picture!
(Oops, I just did one...)

The most impressive thing for us Ex-Californians was the fact that you could actually drive out on the beach!

"Should we drive out into the ocean or just stay here?"

The beach was spectacular.  The first thing we did was jump out and take a picture in front of the glowing sunset.

Sorry for all the beach pictures, but I just can't pick a favorite because they all are so beautiful!

 "Flying, I am flying,
Like a bird cross the sky."
(An Irish song about the sea.)

This is the infamous Beach Inspired Hair Style!

(Click on this panorama.)

That one seagull just makes this picture!

Oh, how I love the beach!!!

Obviously I was saying something funny...

Jordan and Daddy.

The best parents in the world!

"Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof."
~Psalm 96:11

Stay tuned for Part 2!

Yes, driving down on the beach we do here. Body surfing in October? Not so much. You guys looked like you were about to freeze!

Oh, and we also LOVE Goodwill. It's like a glorified garage sale, only they always have what you want! :0)

Glad you all could attend the Family Economics conference in WA! Looking forward to seeing pictures of it. The one in St. Louis was amazing. We all got a laugh from the pictures of you dressed up with your "goodies" from Good Will.
