Bloopers, Secret Agents, and more!
You might be wondering what we all were doing in our "down time" during the tournament. Well we ended up doing this:

Pretended to be secret agents! But what about Eden? She was a great help (thanks Eden!) and ended up being behind the camera the majority of the time! And Judah? He was doing this:

Talking on the phone to Daddy!
Apologetics, Studying, Script Writing and more! But what we hope to see is you! Come and join us next year!
Talking on the phone to Daddy!
And Daddy and Mommy made this all happen! Every one of us is so thankful for them!
--------------------------------------
Bloopers!
Both Shiloh and I did Impromptu so when we were done we (or rather me) had a lot to share about our silly mistakes. So sit back and listen to the bloopers from the tournament!
Someone during a speech: "Now if I went and habitually wrote on the walls... well, I don't do that, but if I did..."
Someone during a speech: "Look, I'm running with my crutch! I can walk!"
Someone during a speech: "God is the only Supernatural human Being... um God isn't a Supernatural human Being, He's the only Supernatural... ... ... Thing!"
But for the greatest "blooper" of all we ended up waking up at 5:45 am after arriving at 1:00 am to our hotel room the night before with this: "Mommy, where are our skirts?" Yes, we actually forgot to bring them! So... ending up at the location looking like the "country-bumpkins" that we are, you can just imagine how we felt! But God provided the perfect skirts. And in all the pictures that you have seen, those are the skirts that God supplied for us! PTL!
So looking ahead to next year this is what we see:
See you there!

Bethany's Dramatic Speech
This is Tournament Update Part 6. And I will be posting the pictures from my dramatic speech. I did it on "Evidence Not Seen" an autobiography by Darlene Deibler Rose. It is a wonderful book and I strongly recommend it!Enjoy the pictures!
-----------------------------------------
This is me looking at all the scripts from all the competitor's speeches. (Eden snapped this shot!)
You might remember from the second tournament post that it was asked why I looked like this! Well it was because I was making faces to the camera girls Shiloh and Eden who decided to see my speech, NOT because I was afraid!
-----------------------------------------
I'm playing The Interrogator again in this picture. He's calling out threats to Darlene and her best friend Margret.
Well that is all the pictures! I sure had a wonderful time doing this speech! I really learned a lot. (And yes, I want to compete in another dramatic next year too!)

Destined For a Duo!
Annette (Shiloh) and I have had many attempts to produce a great duo. As you will see, we've been practicing for the last nine years! NOTE: (Don't worry any of you "turning-twelve-year-olds-and-wanting-to-do-a-duo", our first endeavours were not that stunning!)
So... sit back and watch us work!
--------------------------------------------------
Attempt #4 (year 2009) Duo title: "Treasures of the Snow".
So as you can see this is Strang/Strang over the course of nine years!
WARNING: What will darling De-De do for speech when she's 12?

Thank you so much Shiloh for doing this duo with me. I've enjoyed it so much! I love you!

This is our room... A large audience...
Shiloh patiently waits, Bethany is so excited, & De-De takes pictures....
(Note: De-De took pictures through the window of our Duo Room so we are posting our lines with the pictures.)
Shiloh: "We are Strang/Strang...
Are the Judges ready? Time Keeper ready? Then we will begin!"
Annette: "Can't you look where you're going? You knocked me into this ditch and I can't get out! Look at my copybook! All my exercises are smudged and torn I shall tell the school master it's all your fault LUCIEN MOREL!"

The Widow's Might
Ever since Isaac Harris was live blogging the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival and ever since our family saw HueMoore's film: Bubble Trouble we were looking forward to seeing their newest one, The Widow's Might. After borrowing it from some friends we watched it, and watched it, and watched it... Yes, we have seen it many times and it has become one of our family's favorite movies and if we are not watching it, we are all harmonizing the songs together! :)
The Widow's Might is a story about a family who comes together to help a poor widow who is about to loose her home due to outrageous property taxes. Filled with comedy, adventure, and funny sibling moments this movie is a must see!
On the Harris Twin's website I found this letter which John Moore wrote to Fellow Rebelutionaries-- it's worth the read... especially when you see how far this family has come with filming and how one can do so much more "hard things" during their teen years. What an encouragement!
Our little brother Judah absolutely loves this movie and watches it with his cowboy hat and red boots on. Most recently he has started to recite Gators lines to me well I give him a bath and sings the lead cowboy's song: "Tra-gee" (Tragedy).
This movie is coming to theaters (Click here for a list of theaters) and it may be in a theater near you! Check out the trailer below and see if you too can see it! Be sure to tell us what you think!
~Miss Shiloh
60 Second Trailer Spot, Widow's Might from John Moore on Vimeo. This second one is my favorite trailer! :) Preview from John Moore on Vimeo. I wish they had a trailer with Angela and Reagan singing, but Behemoth has clips from the movie and clips from the soundtrack.
I hope your family will enjoy this film as much as our family has!
God bless you!

April 1st: Fool's Day
This evening when I checked Jasmine Baucham's blog she had posted this quiz which the Botkin Siblings put together. Simply click on the picture and it will take you to the website to take the quiz. Be sure to read all the wonderful scriptures in between which will teach you the underling truth of a foolish heart. After completing the quiz you will be rated and given a scripture for your score.Let us all strive to be wise like King Solomon and to lay aside the sin (foolishness) that so easily besets us!
~Miss Shiloh A. Strang
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise. ~Proverbs 12:15
