A few random pictures...

Smythe and Strang Parents

Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. (Deut. 5:16)

The Smythe Family

L to R: Evan, Elanee, Mr. Smythe, Mrs. Smythe, Yvonne, & Ian.

The Strang Family
L to R: Jordan, Judah, Daddy, Eden, Mommy, Shiloh, & Bethany.

Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Dear sas,
We get our strings from Sharmusic http://www.sharmusic.com/
in fact we get all our supplies from them!
They are really great!
We usually just get the cheap-yes it's true- the cheap kind because we aren't that great. We just got this one second hand and it hadn't been played in a while so a friend accidentally broke the sting and they bought us a new one that matched the strings that had come on the violin.
It is amazing how much of a difference good, quality strings make.
