Ice Cream~
This recipe is from the cookbook: Nourishing Traditions

- 3 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon arrowroot
- 3 cups heavy cream, preferably raw, not ultra pasteurized

1) Ice cream should be made with the best quality cream you can find, preferably unpasteurized. Never use use ultra pasteurized cream.
2) Beat egg yolks and blend in remaining ingredients. Pour into an ice cream maker and process according to instructions. For ease of serving, transfer ice cream into a shallow plastic container, cover and store in the freezer.
**Note: Eden doubled this recipe & we ended up with 1/2 a gallon of delicious Ice Cream! Yum!
